FREEDOM AND FASHION LAUNCH FAIR-TRADE PRODUCT LINE “LOVE BUNNIES”
Freedom and Fashion is revealing exclusive “Love Bunnies” in its new product line at the 5th annual Talent 1 Media Film Festival June 18th and 19th which will take place at the Japanese American Cultural & Community Center in Los Angeles, CA. The “Love Bunnies” were originally designed and created by Freedom and Fashion members, Rea Kim and Carol Shih, who were inspired by the metaphor of taking innocent bunnies and imbuing them with sexual overtones, such as that of the Playboy Bunnies.
The bunnies will be limited-edition for this launch and are 2.5” tall, made of fair-trade wool felt by our partners, Made in Mongolia, and will be donning various outfits of the country they are representing, which have high incidences of slavery (North Korea, India, Thailand, Mongolia, Africa). Freedom and Fashion is sewing love, innocence, and justice back into the lives of the enslaved, to raise for their 2nd annual fair-trade fashion show later this year, which will showcase affordable fair-trade fashions from our partners to prove that conscious consumerism is not out of reach.
